Science of Composing
in 2010 Jerod Tate taught composition to seven PhD research scientists at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. After five short days of lessons, the student works were premiered by a string quartet made of members of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, performed at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. The Oklahoma Education Television Authority created this documentary which, along with Tate, received a 2011 Emmy Award.
